Fail
So I definitely failed today during concept art. Tried to tighten up my environment drawings but that didn't work out too well. :-/
Only thing I got out of today was a couple of dragon sketches for the elemental dragon series I'd like to do at some point.
Water: This guy's supposed to have waterfalls flowing from his mouth, should probably change his eye color though.

Air: This one's supposed to be sleak and able to fly through the air efficiently.

This is one o' those days where I just feel like I have no future in this field. :[

Photography Assignment 2 Continued
The Modeling Continues
I put the chair together and made a table and a light bulb!
Oooooo! Ahhhhh!!
Isn't it scary? You don't want to be interrogated in this floating room! Nuh-uh! Wow I think I need some sleep or something.
Anywho, progress:

I started playing with the materials in the Hypershade editor (I think that's what it's called) and I was trying to make the light bulb a bit reflective. I mostly did it to start getting familiar with materials and I'm sure I'll be changing it later.

Cylonesque
So instead of working on my environment for class (bad Lindsay!) I decided to bring in a sketch that I've had in my sketchbook for a while and play with it in Photoshop. Still currently a WIP, just like all the other digital paintings I have. -_-
Here are the progress shots:

So the last one is the image without the original sketch in the background. I can't decide whether or not to have his upper arm glow, I kind of like it because I think it breaks up the black and white. I think I'm just worried about overdoing the light/glow/thing. :P

Behold My Folding Chair of DOOM!
I couldn't think of a better title. :-/
Started modeling the interrogation chair, stand in it's almighty presence and weep!!!
The back fell off I guess...oops.
And pay no attention to the floating object. >.>
