Super Duper Pre-Good Concept Art
Here a couple more (BAD!) sketches I did for my environment. The purple junk is supposed to be some sort of corruption that's spreading across the planet and the second one is just an experiment with how a small river/stream area might look. The other one is just some sketching I did of how the corruption could travel, I was trying to make it look like a hand or something. :-/

Fail
So I definitely failed today during concept art. Tried to tighten up my environment drawings but that didn't work out too well. :-/
Only thing I got out of today was a couple of dragon sketches for the elemental dragon series I'd like to do at some point.
Water: This guy's supposed to have waterfalls flowing from his mouth, should probably change his eye color though.

Air: This one's supposed to be sleak and able to fly through the air efficiently.

This is one o' those days where I just feel like I have no future in this field. :[

Cylonesque
So instead of working on my environment for class (bad Lindsay!) I decided to bring in a sketch that I've had in my sketchbook for a while and play with it in Photoshop. Still currently a WIP, just like all the other digital paintings I have. -_-
Here are the progress shots:

So the last one is the image without the original sketch in the background. I can't decide whether or not to have his upper arm glow, I kind of like it because I think it breaks up the black and white. I think I'm just worried about overdoing the light/glow/thing. :P

Not Much to Show
I was flipping back and forth between the two pictures I've been working on, didn't get much done on either of them and I don't really like what I did. :( Just one o' those days I guess.
What's-her-face has a red sweatshirt now, I have no experience drawing clothing and I think it shows, haha:

Started to test some different types of trees on the right side, meh:

I need to go stare at some amazing art and get inspired!

Working on It
Working on an alternate shot of the same scene as the previous Photoshop image I posted. I did some work on that one today too, but nothing worth posting.
I never even approached drawing landscapes until last term in my free time, it's definitely a challenge but I'm having fun. :)

Now off to write my Art History essay...yikes.
